As you will see, there are two new options, presented just a few weeks ago during Team’25 in Anaheim, California: Atlassian Government Cloud and Atlassian Isolated Cloud.

Atlassian Government Cloud

In the case of U.S. public administration clients, the “Atlassian Government Cloud” is already being tested (early access program), designed to reduce risk in an exclusive environment for them.

Organizations operating under regulations such as FedRAMP, ITAR, or CJIS need solutions that guarantee compliance, security, and data governance. Atlassian responds with a Cloud approach that includes:

Government Cloud

  • Certifications like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP Moderate
  • Tools like Atlassian Guard for control and auditing
  • Data residency configurable by region
  • Advanced security: threat detection, data loss prevention, monitoring
  • Access to continuous innovation, without sacrificing compliance

Atlassian Isolated Cloud

In 2026, it will also be possible to contract “Isolated Cloud”, for all those clients who need an isolated environment with extreme security and data control requirements.

Among its main features are:

isoleted cloud

  • Isolated environment (single-tenant): dedicated infrastructure, without sharing resources.
  • Complete control over data and flows: ideal for regulations like FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, ITAR, or CJIS.
  • Includes all the functionalities of the Enterprise model + Atlassian Guard Premium.
  • Designed for sectors such as: defense, justice, finance, health, and public agencies with critical control and access policies.

Key Benefits for Your Organization

Implementing the most suitable Atlassian Cloud option for your organizational model has many key benefits. But among the most valuable, in those environments where information must be highly protected, we highlight the following:

  • Reduction of costs and operational effort for regulatory compliance
  • Adoption of certified frameworks without the need for complex internal audits
  • Data sovereignty and confidentiality guaranteed by design
  • Access to new technologies and automation without compromising the legal framework

👉 These options allow even the most regulated organizations to modernize their collaboration and scale operations safely.

There are fewer and fewer excuses for a company not to make its migration to Atlassian Cloud.

Want to know which option is right for you? We can help you!
